Welcome to Romantic RiverSong. We are a small, privately owned country inn on the doorstep to the snow-capped peaks of the Rocky Mountain National Park. At one time this beautiful estate was owned by families of wealth that threw Great Gatsby like events. Those days have given way to a quiet, romantic, and nationally recognized mountain retreat on the edge of the village of Estes Park, Colorado.

Our Location

We are located at the end of a country road on 26 private and secluded acres sloping across the base of Giant Track Mountain. Our beautiful land boasts hiking trails, private access to National Forest trails, hidden patios, tree swings, and riverside meadows with calming ponds. Less than a minute walk from the main lodge you will find our trout-filled, rushing mountain stream, and a quarter mile of private riverbank. It is a place that seems familiar and safe on your first trip here as our guest.

Our Staff

Our terrific staff are here to cook you a delicious breakfast, tidy your room, make afternoon treats, deliver extra firewood to your room, give restaurant recommendations, and give you advice on hiking trails in the Rocky Mountain National Park. They know the critters that roam our property including elk and mule deer, the rare Abert’s squirrel, bobcats, wild turkey, black bear, chipmunks, and a marvelous variety of birds. Guests often see more wildlife here on our private 26 acres than in the National Park.

Your Stay

Ten guest rooms are designed with flair and elegance, and are exceptionally comfortable, especially for long stays. Family antiques blend with the comfortable furnishings of mountain living. Breakfast is a not-to-miss event each morning of your stay. Our special blend coffee, with a rich steamy aroma, meets the cool morning air like a walk with an old friend. And speaking of old friends, we have one guest room that is pet friendly for your furry companion. Since the day we opened our door we have prided ourselves on being an entirely non-smoking property, even in our beautiful outdoor areas.

"We come here for peace and we always find it."

Susan and Joel

"Lying by the warmth of the fire set our bodies, as well as our minds at ease. The tub was also a great pleasure, especially after a long 7 hours of hiking. RiverSong is definitely a place of love and romance."
